Downtown Mexico City: our neighborhood

We pass by these places, see these people daily when we come home or leave our house. Just like everyone else in all the other neighborhoods around the world… sometimes you have a reason to stop and talk to these people, even get to know them a bit. Other times it’s just a friendly nod with your head, a quiet “hello” or nothing. Whatever it is, these people are one way or another parts of our daily lives and we theirs…

  1.  Jaime y Hector: know everything about it!
  2.  Bob: Always there.
  3.  Olguin Bazaar: Barons of the bizz (Adam left with the owners shoes!!!!)
  4.  Juices Krishan. The closest but not always the best.
  5.  Trash man: most helpful.
  6.  Cantina: good spot.
  7.  Foto Ariel: old fashioned techniques.
  8.  Corner shop the only one.
  9.  Barber: cheap and quick.
  10.  Street view.
  11.  Calzado Leon: When my heels are broken.
  12.  Parking man: if we had a car…
  13.  Newspaper: but we never read.
  14.  Music shop: guitar player practicing and annoying the whole street.
  15.  Bed store: ugly fabrics.
  16. Oficinas (vecina): she talks too much.
  17.  Liquor store: close enough.
  18.  Sign painters: (collaborators since 1994).
  19.  Soda deposit + dogs
  20.  Tacos de Carnitas : 3 steps and die.
  21.  Street people: employees of “la Perla” Cabaret.
  22.  Sanna & Philippe.
  23.  Ice cube.
